Nsaids can also cause an increased risk of serious gastrointestinal gi adverse events including bleeding ulceration and perforation of the stomach or intestines which can be fatal.
Use caution in congestive heart failure high blood pressure kidney liver impairment or aspirin sensitive asthma may increase risk of aseptic meningitis especially in patients with systemic lupus erythematosis and mixed connective.

You should not use aleve if you have a history of allergic reaction to aspirin or other nsaid nonsteroidal anti inflammatory drug.
Naproxen can increase your risk of fatal heart attack or stroke especially if you use it long term or take high doses or if you have heart disease.

The longer you take nsaids the more your potential for heart problems goes up.
